Item Details

  • XMT® 400 ArcReach®, Tweco®. This multiprocess power source delivers 400 amps at 60% duty cycle and includes ArcReach®, Auto-Line™, and dedicated weld processes (e.g., gouging, flux core, self-shielded, etc.).

Features

  • ArcReach® Technology - ArcReach capabilities increase jobsite productivity and efficiency by eliminating the time spent tracing weld cables hundreds of feet back to the power source because weld operators can make voltage adjustments at the ArcReach wire feeder or remote.
  • Cable Length Compensation (CLC™) - Cable Length Compensation (CLC™) ensures that the voltage a weld operator sets is the voltage they get by automatically adjusting voltage based on weld cable length, even hundreds of feet away from the power source.
  • Wind Tunnel Technology™ Wind Tunnel Technology™ Internal air flow that protects electrical components and PC boards from dirt, dust, debris... greatly improving reliability
  • Improved Jobsite Safety - The chances of slip, trip and fall injuries are decreased because ArcReach technology allows weld operators to make parameter changes at the wire feeder or remote instead of having to travel through multistory and cluttered jobsites back to the power source.
  • Adjust While Welding (AWW™) - Weld operators have more control and can Adjust While Welding (AWW™) to make fast, easy weld parameter changes at the wire feeder or remote -- even while the arc is on. Only Miller offers this advanced solution.
  • Control Panel Lock Out - Inadvertent parameter changes by other jobsite workers can be avoided because connecting an ArcReach accessory to the power source automatically locks out the power source's panel controls.
  • Auto-Process Select™ - Decrease the chance of an incorrect weld process being used because Auto-Process Select automatically sets the power source to the correct weld process based on the polarity applied to the weld accessory.
  • Auto-Line™ Technology - Work in more places with Auto-Line technology which automatically calibrates the power source to operate properly when connected to any primary input voltage ranging from 208-575 volts, single- or three-phase, 50 or 60 Hz -- with no manual linking required.
  • ArcReach Heater Compatibility - Take charge of your field preheat and bakeout applications up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit (315°C). This system uses induction heating to generate heat in workpieces, so welders can do their own preheating quickly and safely. A part of the ArcReach technology platform, the ArcReach Heater is an accessory for select ArcReach welding power sources.
